Ludica is very happy to report that a story in the British edition of People Magazine has revealed that Queen Elizabeth II is a Wii fan. Apparently, the "Q Wii N," as they are now calling her, has developed a taste for the Nintendo Wii, particular Wii bowling. If this isn't an indication that the Wii has hit the broadest mass market imaginable, we don't know what is!
There was a recent article in GameBiz Daily where a writer made the statement that the 60 year plus market for things like the Wii, BrainAge, etc. "was not sustainable." I found my jaw dropping at this statement. It may be amazing that todays' seniors are enjoying themselves with computer games, but I guarantee that as today's younger gamers age (yes, they WILL) then the market for older gamers cannot help but expand. I think the best thing is that we didn't have to wait for that and that games for a wider audience ARE being made now.... queens and commoners alike!

I have a question? Does anyone know how to unlock a WII with software only. I've heard of this new software and just needed some feedback.

I wouldn't doubt that the queen's playing with the wii, too.
interactivity at its best! the wii is perfectly shaped not only for kids but also for other ages too. like my mom, my mother used to inhibit himself from playing consoles saying that it's just a waste of time and electricity, but when she tried wii fit ,she never left it ever since. great workout thing and everyday exercise! there are also workout games to choose from and it can be easily downloaded at Wii downloads Sites. enjoy choosing!

I only recently got Wii and grabbed a Wii Fit at the same time - and i am impressed. Fair enough the exercises are nothing new but they are effective and the Wii Fit does allow you to undersntad whether you are doing them correctly.
What i love most is the fact that it tracks your progress, shows you how you are progressing over time and all from the comfort of your own living room! Superb piece of equipment! I wonder if the queen bought a Wii Fit?

Did you know Queen Elizabeth was commissioned a gold-plated Wii by THQ and Nintendo? It's one of a kind in the world. Who else has the luxury to have one like that?

Its good to know that the queen herself is also into the Wii madness. I myself would like to play a game using it.

However and for whatever reason, I can't get the freehub body to sit all the way down the nose. It slides down about 3/4 way and stops, i wiggle it and nothing happens. I don't want to force it either and am left just really frustrated.
